MY BEST ENEMY
A fantasy adventure novella for kids of all ages:
Dominic is a typical middle school student. He loves soccer. Loves videogames. Loves corny jokes and memes. Loves his family. He’s a smart, funny kid, just trying to get through a typical school day, get his homework done, and still have time to ride his bike or kick the soccer ball around with his friends.
He’s not the most popular kid in his school. Not even the most popular kid in his class. He’s just…normal. Except, he’s not.
Dominic is also the protector of other Earths, alternate universes, where he’s sometimes called to help save them from being conquered by the forces of evil. He’s assisted by his best friends – Giraffe and Chicken, two human-sized, talking animals. Whether they’re battling dragons, defeating supervillains, or stopping robot takeovers, it’s all fun and excitement, as long as Dominic can make it back home in time for dinner.
Now, there’s a shadowy presence trying to make its way into Dominic’s universe. Something more powerful and cunning than he’s ever had to deal with before. It may be his greatest threat yet: His best enemy.
It has big plans, and Dominic is in its way.

KILL YOUR HEROES
Eddie Marr never planned to be a supervillain, but it seemed like a surefire way to become rich and famous. All he had to do was come up with a flashy costume, a signature gimmick, and commit a couple of high profile (yet nonviolent) crimes. Eddie figured he’d eventually get caught and spend a year or two in a minimum security prison. Then he’d write a tell-all book, do the talk show circuit, and parlay that into a regular TV hosting gig. But the best laid plans . . .
As the Puzzler, Eddie was strictly a C List supervillain. He matched wits with Dark Revenger, a grim and gritty, street-level superhero. Eddie always managed to get away unscathed, but one night, things go horribly wrong and the Dark Revenger is dead. It’s one thing to steal the Mona Lisa. But killing a world famous superhero? That’s hard time with the worst of the worst.
Most people would cash out, change their identity, and go on the run. But Eddie knows there’s no running if you’re responsible for the death of an A List superhero. The only chance Eddie has in staying out of prison, and staying alive, is to take the Dark Revenger’s place and not let the rest of the world know the original is dead.
Eddie can do it. He’s got the physical ability and the tech savvy. He even looks good in the costume. It’s the ultra-serious, crime-fighting part he has trouble with. (Seriously, does the Dark Revenger need to be so “dark” all the time?) hen the world’s premiere superhero team, the Majestic 12, needs help with a seemingly impossible crime: One of their own has been murdered and they need “the world’s greatest detective” (a.k.a. the Dark Revenger) to solve it.
He’s not the hero we need. He’s not the hero we deserve. He’s not really a hero at all.

BLAKE TWENTY-THREE
(Author’s Preferred Edition)
You know those shadowy government organizations that pop up as villains in spy thrillers and suspense movies? Ever wondered what would possess someone to work for an organization whose main agenda appears to be counterproductive to the good of mankind and most of its agents meet violent ends? Meet Agent Blake. He’s not the first Jasper Blake to work for Argus, or even the second…
He’s the twenty-third Agent Blake, and he’s determined to outlast his predecessors in a job where his employers are more dangerous than his enemies. He’s on a mission to save the world, or end it (he’s not sure which), while he simultaneously re-examines the life choices that led to his present predicament.
Blake Twenty-Three is a character study masquerading as a pulp action spy novel.
“MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE crossed with THE CATCHER IN THE RYE.”

AUTUMN MOON
Tanneheuk, Montana appears to be an idyllic small town. There’s no crime, no poverty, and no racism. The town is overseen by a small group known as “the elders,” a tribe of people who have watched over Tanneheuk for hundreds of years. The elders are shapeshifters – werewolves – and they protect the townspeople from the corrupting influence of outsiders. In return for their protection, they only require one thing:
Every year, on the first day of Autumn, they want to hunt a human.
Drake Burroughs is a young minister with a checkered past. Newly assigned to the Tanneheuk Church, he knows there’s something dark going on beneath the surface of the seemingly perfect little town. When he discovers the truth about the elders, he convinces the townspeople that the hunt is a sin against God, and they should break their pact with the werewolves.
Roman is the Alpha Wolf, the leader of the elders, struggling to keep his pack together and his leadership unquestioned. Roman knows the annual hunt is archaic, but also understands the importance of tradition for a race of beings who live on the cusp of extinction.
Added to this volatile mix is a family of con artists hiding out in Tanneheuk; a town deputy, torn between her unrequited love for one man and her burgeoning desire for another; a young girl training for the annual hunt, determined to be the next chosen; a restored 1970 Dodge Charger; Karaoke night; lots of guns…
It might be Judgment Day for Tanneheuk.

I AM THE NIGHT
Don’t call it a sequel. It’s a continuation. A new season. It’s the next chapter in the story that began in AUTUMN MOON.
The events in AUTUMN MOON left Rev. Drake Burroughs a changed man. He’s a shapeshifter now — a werewolf — and he’s hell-bent on tracking down the remainder of the shapeshifter pack that killed his congregation. Salacia, the former mate of an Alpha Wolf, has been running from Drake for a year. Now she’s taken the fight back to Drake’s hometown. Salacia thinks it will give her an advantage. But there’s something Salacia, and Drake, didn’t count on:
A clan of vampires have made Drake’s hometown their hunting ground. Drake thought shapeshifters were monsters. He’s about to find out there are much worse things in the world than he ever imagined.
I AM THE NIGHT isn’t a horror novel, and it’s not a suspense novel. It’s a horror/action movie with werewolves, vampires, fangs, claws, and lots and lots of blood. I AM THE NIGHT is the unauthorized sequel to AUTUMN MOON.
